I'm also holding another art contest on Gaia, for anyone interested in it. There are some pretty big prizes, like Horns of the Demon and Golden Laurels, plus lots of smaller ones. Come see!

Lastly, I'm going to Fanime again this year and I'm thankfully NOT working at a booth or anything, so I'll finally be able to check out the AA properly. If you're going to have a table there, please let me know so I can drop by!

Good to hear you won't be booth bound. Nothing sucks more than having to watch other people have fun while you are stuck woking.

I'll be in the Hilton. Are you staying in a con hotel? I'm hyped about being attached to the con for the sake of cosplay (I hate walking/driving in a costume. I always feel so stupid XD)

How is the food situation at Fanime? It was hard as hell to get food @ AX last year, and I'm just wondering if we should pack food for fanime if it's the same...

There are fridges in all the rooms though, so if you can bring some snacks or something, it might be a good idea. I can't since I'm travelling from The Socialist Paradise of Canada and your border doesn't trust me, so I'm going to have to buy snacks this year.
The Hilton's quite nice, the photos on their website don't do it justice. They look really cheesy and bright, it's actually very rich and subdued.
Fridges? Score! That will win the convention over for me. We brought a cooler to AX one year, but that just doens't cut it after a few days, you know? LOL
Oh noes w/ Canadian border crossing. I hear they can be strict. It's stupid, but maybe you can hit up a grocery store after you reach San Jose? I'm sure we will bring enough snack that you can have some of ours if you can't

The Bevmo is 7 or so mins by car from the convention center, not walking distance, but a short trip none the less. This is good since I don't know any friend that will be there that won't be wanting drinks (and hotel bars are inflated beyond reason usually)
